We provide strategic HR consulting to companies seeking to optimize their investment in human capital with innovative talent and reward solutions that positively impact business performance.

As the Founder and Principal of Beacon HR Advisors, Ed has more than 20 years of diverse experiences in Human Resources as both a consultant and corporate executive. He has designed and implemented total rewards programs that have successfully attracted, engaged and retained key talent in both public and private companies. Ed spent the first part of his career as a consultant with Hay Management Consultants, now Korn Ferry, and Coopers & Lybrand LLP, now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he honed his consultancy skills and gained valuable insights into the HR challenges facing leaders in a variety of industries, geographies and business life cycle stages.

Most recently, Ed was the VP, Global Compensation, Benefits & HRIS at Checkpoint Systems, Inc., serving as top company resource for all compensation, benefits and HR systems initiatives. As a HR Leadership Team member he was involved in broader organization planning initiatives. Before joining Checkpoint, Ed held regional and global HR roles at XL Capital, now XL Catlin, (NYSE: XL) where he delivered global compensation and reward solutions in line with the company’s strategy and compensation philosophy.

Ed is a member of WorldatWork where he has earned his Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and is also a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP). He serves as compensation advisor and outside Compensation Committee member for a private, multispecialty medical group. Ed received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ursinus College and resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with his wife and daughter.
